MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

To ensure the longevity and appearance of your Aire Outdoor Furniture, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

  1. Regular Cleaning:
    • Frames: Wipe down metal and wooden frames with a soft cloth and mild soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry completely.
    • Fabric: Clean cushions and fabric covers with a gentle soap solution and water. Avoid using harsh chemicals or bleach. Allow to air dry completely before use.
  2. Protective Measures:
    • Covers: Use furniture covers when the furniture is not in use to protect against UV rays, rain, and debris.
    • Shade: Place furniture in shaded areas whenever possible to minimize direct exposure to sunlight, which can cause fading and material degradation.
    • Storage: During off-season or extreme weather conditions, store furniture indoors or in a dry, sheltered place.
  3. Material-Specific Care:
    • Wood: Apply a protective wood sealant or oil every 6-12 months to maintain the wood’s natural appearance and protect against moisture.
    • Metal: Check for rust regularly. If rust appears, sand the affected area lightly and apply a rust-resistant paint.
    • Wicker/Rattan: Clean with a soft brush and soapy water. Avoid exposing wicker to excessive moisture.
  4. Avoiding Damage:
    • Weight Limits: Adhere to the weight limits specified in the product manual to avoid structural damage.
    • Sharp Objects: Keep sharp objects away from furniture surfaces to prevent scratches and punctures.
  5. Seasonal Maintenance:
    • Spring/Summer: Clean furniture thoroughly at the beginning of the season. Check for any loose screws or bolts and tighten as necessary.
    • Fall/Winter: Clean and dry furniture before storage. Remove and store cushions and fabric components separately to avoid mildew.
  6. Cushion Care:
    • Removable Covers: Wash removable covers according to the care instructions provided. Avoid using dryers; air dry instead.
    • Non-removable Covers: Spot clean with a mild soap solution and water. Blot excess moisture with a towel and allow to air dry.
  7. Inspection:
    • Regularly inspect your furniture for any signs of wear and tear. Address any issues promptly to prevent further damage.
